During the announcement of the HTC One (M8) earlier today, HTC also gave out some good news for users of the 2013 HTC One. The Taiwanese manufacturer has mentioned that the new Sense 6.0 UI will make its way to the original HTC One by Spring. This will include most of the features that we saw from the smartphone including the new BlinkFeed homescreen with continuous scrolling.
However, HTC has mentioned that it might not be able to bring every feature that we saw on the M8 earlier today due to some hardware constraints. But rest assured, users will be able to experience a bulk of the features from the latest HTC UI. Starting with Sense 6.0, some core HTC apps will be available from the Google Play Store, which will make it easier for the company to update them at regular intervals rather than having to rely on firmware updates.
HTC is also expected to bring the UI to other devices like the One Max, One Mini as well as the Butterfly S, but that could take a while with priority given to the HTC One first.
