NEW DELHI, India – In addition to the Huawei Honor 3C recently, handset maker Huawei also released the Huawei Ascend G6 and Huawei Ascend G750 in India.
The Huawei Ascend G6 was announced early this year at the MWC – it packs a 4.5” IPS display with 960×540 pixel resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz, works on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is topped with Huawei’s own Emotion 2.0 UI over it. At its back lies a 8MP camera that comes with Sony’s Exmor BSI sensors, while the front hosts a 5MP camera. The device has 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot and offers 2000mAh of battery capacity.
Taking a look at the Huawei Ascend G750, the device comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution, a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali450-MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean skinned with the Emotion 2.0 UI. Its back hosts a 13MP camera with LED flash and Sony Exmor sensor, while the front sports a 5MP shooter. The device offers 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD and has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei Ascend 6 is priced for Rs 16,999 while the Huawei Ascend G750 goesfor Rs 24,999. Both devices are expected to go on sale in India soon.
