And here it is for a third time, then. These images are thankfully higher-res and of higher quality. What you can see in them is a white Ascend Mate 2 compared to the original Ascend Mate in black. Obviously the two are quite similar, given the fact that they both sport the same 6.1-inch screen size, but the new model has a slightly curved back which may make it easier to hold.
The Ascend Mate 2 will probably be made official either at CES in January or MWC in February, and so far it’s been rumored to come with the aforementioned 6.1″ display with either 720p or 1080p resolution, a 1.6 GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor with Mali 450 graphics, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and an FM radio. It should run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0 plastered on top.
