A new leak from China has revealed the existence of the Huawei Ascend P7. This will reportedly be the company’s flagship handset, with a launch expected later this month at the MWC event. Another bit of good news is that the smartphone could be the first from Huawei to feature Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, according to the leaks emerging out of China.
This will be in addition to the 5 inch 1080p display, a 13MP camera on the back, a 1.6 GHz quad core HiSilicon 910 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 2,460 mAh battery. The version of Android 4.4 running on the smartphone will be heavily skinned with the company’s proprietary Emotion UI, so users can’t expect a stock Android experience with the company’s new flagship. We expect the smartphone to break cover in regions of Asia as well as Europe, while the chances of an American launch looking very slim at the moment.
