The #Huawei #Honor5X smartphone was launched by the company a couple of months ago. The Chinese manufacturer has now announced that the device will be making its way to the U.S. markets later this month. And the price? Well, just $199.99. The company says that the smartphone was “inspired by the shape and design of the famous Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.”
The device comes with an aluminum alloy body that is polished by diamonds, while it also uses a special ceramic coating which will give it that ultra premium look.
On the hardware front, the Honor 5X comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB), Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The $200 pricing is for the unlocked model of course and you won’t be able to get the smartphone through a carrier in the U.S., which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
