Huawei has recently launched its flagship Huawei P9 smartphone with dual rear camera setup and is the world’s first smartphone to feature Leica lenses. Now, it seems like Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, is all set to launch a smartphone with the dual rear camera’s called as Honor V8. The company has been teasing the smartphone and has also scheduled an event for May 10 where the Honor V8 will be officially unveiled. Today, the device has been spotted on the TENAA listing giving us important details about the upcoming smartphone. According to the listing, the Honor V8 will come in three different variants with model numbers KNT-AL10, KNT-TL10, and KNT-AL20.
As per the TENAA, the Honor V8 with model numbers KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10 come with almost similar specifications while the V8 with model number KNT-AL20 will be the high-end variant. All the devices come with an all-metal unibody design and also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit. The smartphones come with dual rear camera setup on the back side with dual-tone LED flash and laser autofocus. The smartphones will also run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI out of the box.
The Honor V8 with model numbers KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10 will come with a 5.7-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display and will come powered by Kirin 950 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T880 GPU. The devices will come with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage and is further expandable via microSD card upto 128GB. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Infrared, Bluetooth and microUSB port. Both the smartphones come with dual 12MP rear cameras and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers.
The Honor V8 with model number KNT-AL20 is of the highest quality among all the three devices and will come with a better display, upgraded processor, and higher inbuilt storage option. The smartphone will come with 5.7-inch (2560×1440 pixels) 2K display and packs Kirin 955 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and will also include a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB. Apart from this, it will include all features similar to the other two devices.
All the handsets will come backed by a 3400mAh battery and are listed in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold color options. The company has confirmed none of the above details, so we advise you to take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates in coming days!
