Huawei is due to launch a new flagship smartphone in the coming weeks. The company confirmed during its IFA 2018 press conference that the Huawei Mate 20 launch will take place on October 16th in London. It’s going to be the first smartphone to be powered by the company’s new Kirin 980 processor, the first mobile chip based on the 7nm process technology.

The upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series will include the Mate 20, Mate 20 Lite, and the Mate 20 Pro. There may be a Porsche Design edition of the handset as well. Further details about the devices will be confirmed by Huawei at its event on October 16th.
