Huawei is apparently getting ready to introduce a new 10-inch Android tablet, perhaps a successor to the MediaPad 10 FHD that it first showed us back in February at MWC. The Huawei MediaPad 10 Link has popped up at both the Wi-Fi Alliance and the Bluetooth SIG, getting its much-needed certifications from both organizations.
Unfortunately, aside from the name and the small image you can see below, there’s not much to know about this tablet yet. It will come in three different versions (model numbers S10-201w, S10-201U, and S10-202U), presumably Wi-Fi-only, and a couple of Wi-Fi+mobile data options. All three will come with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n. It will have a Huawei-branded processor made by HiSilicon (just like the MediaPad 10 FHD), an HD IPS screen of unknown resolution, and (obviously) Bluetooth support.
And that’s it. Let’s hope that more information will leak through the cracks soon. One thing is certain – the MediaPad 10 Link keeps most of the design language of the MediaPad 10 FHD. Which isn’t a bad thing at all, as that tablet is simply gorgeous.
We’ll let you know when we find out more about the new Huawei tablet.
