No matter how much time has passed since I Am Bread was first announced, talking about a game where the idea is to play as bread does not get any less weird. Nonetheless, Bossa Studios continues forward with its bread simulator, debuting it today on PlayStation 4.
The PlayStation 4 version of I Am Bread re-creates the PC version experience, tasking players with getting a piece of bread to its goal and making it toast. This version also comes with a handful of the PC updates, including the one that allows users to play as a baguette and a cracker.
I Am Bread is set to hit the PlayStation Store later today and you can check out the trailer below for more.
This news might beg the question of what's become of the PC version. Well, that version is still getting continuous updates. In fact, the most recent one came two weeks ago when the world of I Am Bread crossed over with Team Fortress 2. Bossa Studios crafted a new stage in collaboration with the team at Valve, in which a lone piece of bread wanders around a sleeping Heavy's chambers.
The "I Am Sandvich?" stage is available as a free update and you can check that action out in the video below. For more on this game, Shacknews broke bread with Bossa Studios a couple of months ago and that interview is available here.
