The domestic smartphone manufacturer iBall is known for launching affordable smartphones and tablets targeting the low-end category users. Recently, the brand has announced two new budget-friendly smartphones in its Andi series called as iBall Andi 5.5H Weber 4G and Andi Gold 4G. Both the smartphones come with decent entry-level specifications, have support for 9 regional languages and lets you read and write in 21 Indian languages. The devices are currently listed on the company’s official website without any pricing details and will go on sale in the country soon.

iBall Andi 5.5H Weber 4G
The Andi 5.5H Weber 4G flaunts a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS full lamination display and offers a pixel density of 267ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone houses an 8MP rear camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and perfect selfie clicks. The 4G-LTE enabled device includes basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The iBall Andi 5.5H Weber 4G powers a 2680mAh battery that is rated to last for an entire day on mixed usage and will come in Gold and Silver color variants.
iBall Andi 5Q Gold 4G
The Andi 5Q Gold 4G comes with a slightly smaller 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi when compared to 5.5-inch display seen on the Andi 5.5H Weber 4G. Under the hood, the smartphone packs same 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz clubbed with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with lesser 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD card slot. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
The smartphone features the same set of cameras as seen in the Andi Weber 5.5H 4G, an 8MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front snapper for video calling and selfie lovers. The handset comes backed slightly larger by a 3000mAh battery that the company claims can easily take you through the day considering the low-end specifications. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box and will be available only in Gold color option.
