After 27 million iPhone and iPad downloads, Instagram’s arrival on Android is close at hand following today’s unveiling of a pre-release sign up page for the app.
Users of a Google-powered smartphone can now register their interest to be “first in line” to download Instagram when it hits the Google Play store “very soon”.
An ad-supported version of Instagram for Android has been in the works since last September but was reportedly held back by the small team of six working on it.
