The Indian smartphone maker, Intex has been expanding its portfolio of 4G-LTE enabled devices with many launches in the last couple of months. The company has recently launched a dirt cheap smartphone called as Intex Cloud Breeze priced at Rs. 3,999. The smartphone features a 5-inch display, MediaTek SoC, 1GB RAM and 2300mAh battery. Today, the brand has launched an ultra-affordable 4G-LTE smartphone in its Aqua series called as Intex Aqua 4G Strong priced at Rs. 4,499. The smartphone is currently listed on the company’s official website and is expected to go on sale in the country soon.
Talking about the specifications, the Intex Aqua 4G Strong features a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA display with 233ppi as pixel density and an unspecified glass protection laid on top. The smartphone comes equipped with 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 768MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.
On the camera part, the smartphone sports a 2MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 0.3MP VGA front camera for video calling and selfie images. Like other Intex devices, the smartphone also comes with pre-loaded apps such as Matrabhasha, FOTA, Opera mini, Cloud and 360 Security. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
It includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port. The Aqua 4G Strong is one of the most affordable devices to come with VoLTE support in India. The handset comes backed by a 1700mAh battery that the company claims can deliver upto 6 hours of talk time and lasts upto 240 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 125.4 x 64.5 x 10 mm weighs around 110 grams and comes in Grey and Champagne Gold color options.
