The domestic smartphone manufacturer, Intex launched the Aqua Ace smartphone with more than decent specifications like 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 3GB RAM and 13MP camera and was also priced aggressively at Rs. 12,999. Now, the brand has launched the smaller variant of the smartphone called as Intex Aqua Ace Mini in India priced at Rs. 7,799. The device is currently listed on the company’s official website and is expected to arrive on the market soon.
Coming to the specifications part, the Aqua Ace Mini flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass laid on top for protection. Under the hood, it comes equipped with 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz clubbed with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM for the lag-free and smooth performance of the device. The smartphone features hybrid sim slot that lets you use the microSD card instead of the second sim.
The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box. On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with Samsung sensor, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with a f/2.4 aperture for video chats and stunning selfie images. The smartphone comes with standard connectivity options like 4G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support. The handset comes backed by a larger 3000mAh battery that the company claim can offer upto 8 hours of talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 145.3 x 72 x 8.65 mm weighs around 150 grams and will be available only in White color option.
