Sorry for the super abrupt previous post. Wanted to get the news out there that it was available as quickly as I could. Now, here’s the details about the phone that you’re all wanting to hear:
4.95″ 1920×1080 Resolution IPS Display covered with Gorilla Glass 3
2.3 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Processor
Adreno 320 GPU
16GB/32GB Internal Storage
8MP Camera with OIS
1.3MP Front Facing Camera
2300 mAh Battery
Built In Wireless Charging
69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm
4.59 oz (130 g)
The design is definitely more reminiscent of the Nexus 7 than the Nexus 4 but I’m not complaining. In reading comments in different posts, there’s a lot of people who aren’t digging the new design but I don’t mind it. I like the extra large Nexus etching on the back of the device and I like the soft touch plastic. Of course, in hand feel is a huge part of liking a phone so we’ll have to wait and see how that goes.
Here’s a full press release if you enjoy reading! How many of you snagged one?
