A few years back there seemed to be no need of having to customize mail signature on iPhone as Apple’s iOS devices already came with a default one which read “Sent from my iPhone/iPad/iPod”. However, with the changing times, people have come to find it quite boring having the same one. There is a very simple way to customize Mail signature in iOS 5 as well as remove Apple’s default with the following iOS 5 tips:
Open up the Settings app on your iOS device
Tap on ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars…’ tab
Tap on the Signature tab
A text box with your default signature will appear. Delete it and enter your own
Tap the ‘Clear’ button in the right-hand corner and enter your new signature into the text box
You have successfully customized your Mail Signature. Now go back into Mail settings to check whether it saves or not. Whenever, you get a new mail message, you’ll see your Custom Signature.
