We often hear from readers that a new iOS version has caused problems on their older iOS devices. Most of the complaints we have received about iOS 8 have come from iPhone 4s users. The three-year-old handset is the oldest that is compatible with iOS 8.
Strangely, we are also hearing from iPhone 5s users, who claim that iOS 8 has caused significant problems on their one-year-old device.
Among the problems cited are slower load times in apps, a lag when connecting to Wi-Fi, and battery issues. Our readers arent the only ones experiencing these issues, as recent reports from Forbes and BGRprove.
Most likely, Apple is aware of these issues and will make the necessarycorrections in iOS 8.0.1, which should be released soon. Problems with third-party apps will probably be corrected once they become iOS 8 compatible through an app update.
In the meantime, wed like to hear from our readers using iPhone 5s devices. Are you having issues with iOS 8? Let us know by using the comments below.
