iOS users can create and edit Google Docs using GoDocs v3.1, an updated version of the app from developers lightroomapps. Links can be opened as PDF files, and push notifications alert you when someone else has edited a Google Doc that you’re collaborating on.
Speaking of collaboration, that is made much easier with address book integration – you can use your contact list to share Google Docs with others. Using the same interface, you can adjust individual roles on Google Docs. You can also choose to share a document publicly, allowing anyone in the world to contribute. Integration with Google Groups and Google Apps domains are both also present in GoDocs v3.1.
GoDocs is available now on the iTunes App Store for the iPhone and iPad for $4.99.
