Who doesn’t like great iPad apps? At iPad Insight we definitely do. With that in mind, we offer up a quick review of an excellent iPad app, or a few great iPad apps, here each week.
Our picks for Best iPad App of the Week are published here every week. Check out all out picks below and you’ll soon have a collection of stellar apps for your favorite tablet.
This week’s pick is Paper by FiftyThree. Everyone likes to doodle, but not everyone is an artist. With Paper you don’t have to be. Just launch the app and start sketching out your ideas and designs, or formulate a product design. You can take advantage of all the tools with Paper, as they are all available for free. There are the five original tools that you can use to Outline, Draw, Sketch and Color, all your ideas as they come to you. With the recent addition of Think Kit, you can do even more.
With their latest update they have addressed some big changes to Think Kit and more…
We’ve lined up some great changes to line drawing in Think Kit:
– Snappier new connectors
– Lines inside shapes connect more perfectly with boundaries, making it easier to subdivide shapes.
– Lines close to the outsides shapes stay separate from shapes, making detailed graphing easier.
– Flow charts are easier to make with connectors that align vertically or horizontally to shapes.
– We’ve fixed some bugs in the Pencil firmware upgrade. If you’ve been having trouble connecting or upgrading, please upgrade your Pencil’s firmware in this release.
Here’s an App Store link for Paper. Now is a great time to give Paper a look. All the tools that were formally offered as in-app purchases are now free, ion addition to free cloud backup. Want to add even more to your Paper experience? Try FiftyThree’s new Pencil stylus that is connected via your iPad’s bluetooth connection, and take advantage of their pressure-sensitive feature that provides even more of whatever you are drawing.
