All this technological advancement, but getting a signature on a contract is still the worst. It almost always involves a fax machine, and getting to and using a fax machine is almost always a hassle.
Fortunately, technology has finally caught up. DocuSign Ink is a free app you can use to receive contracts and documents in PDF form, sign them, and send them back. No ink, and no trips to Kinko’s.
The app lets you receive and sign an unlimited number of documents to sign and return for free. If you happen to be the sender, you’ll get five sign requests free – you’ll have to make in-app purchases for sign requests after that. You can also choose a face-to-face option, if you’re a small business owner looking to take care of business using only an iPad.
DocuSign Ink offers support for a wide range of file types, and can import documents and files directly from Box, Dropbox and Google Drive. All signed documents are automatically put into cloud storage, and senders will receive notifications when recipients have signed their documents. DocuSign also claims that it is the only app on the market that makes e-signatures tamper-proof.
