Kaptain Brawe is a point-and-click adventure game with a futuristic setting. The premise is that you take on the role of a Space Police officer named Kaptain Brawe in his interstellar adventure, so to speak. Your task is to follow the trail of two kidnapped alien scientists and proceed to explore four colorful and mysterious planets while meeting other unique characters.
What sets this game apart from other point-and-click games for iPad (aside from its colorful game environment) are the hilarious ways the story unfolds.
How does it work?
The gameplay is pretty simple since this is a point-and-click game. You just need to be sharp in reading dialogues, resolving clues and finding objects that need to be found. Alright, to tell you honestly, it took me quite awhile to figure out what’s required of the first task. Hopefully, you don’t find it as confusing. Since this is a point-and-click game, you can’t really explore on your own; you must follow the storyline and fulfill the task at hand to move on. But don’t worry—after resolving the first task, I’m pretty sure it will be smooth sailing for you as you go along.
The game features four colorful settings, more than 40 locations, three different characters, two game-play modes (hard-core and casual), and Game Center support.
Is it contagious?
For those who enjoy playing this type of game, Kaptain Krawe offers wit and humor against a nice setting. Those who are into fast-paced, action-packed games, however, should surely stay away unless you’re looking for a change.
