More than half of U.S. teens have an iPhone and the iPad is by far the most popular tablet, according to a new survey by Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, a long-time Apple watcher.
Of those teens who have a tablet, 68% said that they own an iPad (8% of those said they owned an iPad mini with the rest having the standard or full-size iPad).
And it's more good news for Apple going forward as 64% of teens who said they planned to buy a tablet in the next six months said they'd buy an iPad.
Twenty percent said they owned an "Android tablet" while 9% said they owned a Kindle Fire.
