In a huge endorsement of its product and growth strategy, investors have committed a $100 million in Series C funding to Revel Systems.
Founded in 2010, fast-growing Revel offers businesses an iPad-based point-of-sale system.
The funding is led by New York City-based private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) and other strategic investors. As part of the deal, Sanjay Swani, a general partner at WCAS and Co-Head of the WCAS Information/Business Services industry practice, will join Revel’s Board of Directors.
