The world seems to be very much amazed by what Apple had to offer in form of iPhone 4S which had the very unique Siri voice assistance program. The Siri voice assistance program is the very first revolutionary addition made to the world of smart phones which added the facility of voice input but on the other hand, the most talked about issue in case of the iPhone 4S is its battery life which sadly happens to fall in the drawback category. Apple iPhone 4S battery life appears to be on the weaker side as the feature list from Apple itself indicates that the phone is capable of having a standby time of 200 hours only. Though 200 hours is not a bad standby time but if one focuses on the analysis of the battery life of iPhone 4S with respect to the earlier versions of iPhone in form of iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, there is a gradual decrease. The iPhone 3GS provides a standby time of about 300 hours and the iPhone 4 provides a standby time of 300 hours. With such respect, Apple disciples must have anticipated a better standby time too, but sadly the same was not entertained by Apple. The issue cannot be regarded as an intentional too as Apple has also made certain amendments in the configurations which ultimately resulted into lower battery life of iPhone 4S.
What experts believe is that there can possibly two solid reasons which makes the difference in the iPhone 4S Battery Life. First of all, the iPhone 4S has been blessed with dual-processor A5 chip which happens to be a strong contender for absorbing the power of iPhone 4S Battery Life, whereas, on secondary basis, since the introduction of Siri voice assistance program is new to the world of smart phones, no one actually knows what the actual impact is upon the battery by running such program and therefore, can be another reason for reducing the battery life of iPhone 4S.
However, Schiller, an integral part of apple had the following to comment on the Apple iPhone 4S’s battery life, “You would think if you put a processor that powerful inside a super-thin phone, one of the things you’re going trade off is battery life – but the hardware and software teams have worked really hard to get industry-leading battery life as well.”
The issue of poor battery life of iPhone 4S has been in the limelight for quite a sometime now and many questions are also being raised in such a scenario but unfortunately none of such questions have been properly answered by Apple since the launch of its iPhone 4S which poses a threat on brand royalty and the release of Apple iPhone 5 by next summer.
