Apple’s newest smartphone, iPhone 4S is up for preorder October 7. It will officially go on sale seven days later in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom and United States. As part of its post-keynote announcements yesterday, Apple officially confirmed pricing for its entry-level model iPhone 4S in these countries. After Apple’s announcement of its long awaited new iPhone on Tuesday, while some Canadian Apple fans are getting ready to line up Oct. 14 to buy the new iPhone 4S, others say they’ll wait for an iPhone 5. Thanks to Apple Canada, we now know what the iPhone 4S prices in Canada are, the prices of the unlocked devices.
The iPhone 4S Canada prices for an unlocked unit start at $649 which is logically the off-contract price for the 16GB version. The 32GB and 64GB versions will probably cost $749 and $849, respectively. That is:-

There is the fresh update that the Telus iPhone 4S pre-order website is now live as of midnight-ish Pacific Daylight Time, and hence the three year contract iPhone 4S pricing in Canada has now been revealed:

These prices are the same prices that customers from Rogers, Fido, and Bell will pay and the same prices as the iPhone 4 last year, with the addition of $369 for the new 64GB model.
Despite the name, the new iPhone brings significant changes and improvements over the iPhone 4. According to data released by Apple, Apple’s new generation smart phone, iPhone 4S sports a 3.5-inch touch screen, is equipped with dual-core processor, A5, running on Apple’s latest iOS 5 operating system, with a support for 1080p HD video recording with 8-megapixel camera, but also built VPA (virtual personal Assistant) functions, and also a new antenna design to achieve global roaming. Unlike earlier iPhones, the iPhone 4S is a worldwide phone so it can be used on networks around the globe.
