Yesterday we pitted the Nexus 6 against the BlackBerry Classic, with the Classic taking the win. It looks like BlackBerry fans came to vote from all over the world and gave the physical keyboard favorite a big boost. It will now go on to face the Sony Xperia Z3 next week.
Today we have the Apple iPhone 6 going up against TechnoBuffalo’s phone of last year, the OnePlus One. I love both these devices, they both feel great in your hands, both have extremely low side profiles, and showcase a lot of features that make them stand out. I honestly can’t say anything bad about either device. But what does it matter, this isn’t about what I have to say. It’s your vote fans, you get to choose which phone moves forward. We’ve known what the iPhone 6 would look like for months; dummy units were easier to come by than water in the Pacific. Even still, there are many subtle differences between the finished product and an unfinished shell yanked off the factory floor. It’s like asking me to have a build-off with a carpenter. More than half way through this year, and we can already accurately predict which big phones will be on many end-of-year lists. Devices like the Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8) and the LG G3.
