Today more images of iPhone 6 internals got leaked than we know what to do with! From NFC-chips, to RAM, and the rear shell of the iPhone 6 itself, we have a lot to cover in this article.
First, the iPhone 6 back panel. These images coming out of France show pretty much the same that we have seen for the longest time. The images show the same ugly back panel with visible antenna lines. Possibly Space Grey or Silver in color; we’re not quite sure. One of the notable differences is the rounded ‘True Tone’ LED flash. On the bottom of the iPhone 6 case you will notice that the speaker grill has been replaced by one small hole for a microphone. Hopefully the reduction of the microphone size will not hinder audio quality.
Next! More images released today are bringing us closer to believing that this will be the year we see a NFC-chip introduced into an iPhone. Images that were shared with Sonny Dickson show the iPhone 6 logic board and ‘confirms’ an NFC-chip in the iPhone 6. The rumors have foretold of a mobile payment system in the iPhone 6 which will take advantage of the iPhone 6′s NFC-chip.
Other images that came out today show us what to expect from a storage stand point. This image shows the 16GB of SSD we will see in the iPhone 6 models. Some speculation says that the storage options will be as follows; 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB respectively. It is unclear wether we will see 32GB model but only time will tell.
Finally, RAM. It looks like, yet again, iPhone users will be stuck with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Thanks to Sonny Dickson once again we get a better look at the iPhone 6′s internals. Wether or not this will be confined to the 4.7-inch model and not the 5.5-inch model is unclear as of now.
All of it combines together to create an actually up, and running iPhone 6 courtesy of Feld & Volk, and depicted in the video below.
We will know for sure what the iPhone 6 entails on September 9th, but it seems like we have almost the whole picture with all of these various part leaks.
