Ever find yourself longing for a simpler time? A time before Weapons of Mass Destruction, a time free from the ravages or recession, a time when men were men, women were a lot hairier and big scaly beasts were big scaly beasts? Well welcome to the new gaming experience from GREE: Dino Life.
The first of its kind from the famed Japanese mobile social gaming company, Dino Life was developed in GREE’s new San Francisco office solely for the Android platform. Whereas the firm has launched previous releases across multiple platforms, Dino Life is exclusive to Google’s open OS.
Releasing an Android only app is a very timely move following recent news of Android’s dominance in the Japanese market place, something which clearly hasn’t gone unnoted by SVP of Social Games at GREE, Eiji Araki: “GREE is excited about the recent advancements in Google Play and its potential to expand the free-to-play ecosystem on Android. Dino Life is our first Android title and exemplifies our commitment to offer unique gameplay mechanics, great social features and highly-stylised art in each game.”
As to Dino Life itself, the game is a Stone Age Sims style social adventure in which you collect, breed and raise dinosaurs, complete quests, expand and improve your village and, of course, work with friends through the miracle of social media gaming to get on in prehistoric life.
Available now, you can download Dino Life from Google Play here and expect to see a review later this week.
