This is possibly one of the few times wherein a mobile app has become available first for Android before it reaches iOS. We’re referring to Jolicloud’s mobile app which just became available for your iPhone. For those who’ve missed the beat, Jolicloud is a cloud service that lets you access your online content. Jolicloud is a pretty neat service which indexes everything you created, liked or received on social sites that you use including Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr and more. Jolicloud is pretty simple to setup as well. All you need to do is create a new account or use your Facebook account to get your own Jolicloud account. Once you have this account, you can login to the iPhone app and then start connecting your social accounts. Once this is done, the app will automatically populate your account with contents from those social accounts. Once your collection is built, you’ll be able to search content and access them anywhere, anytime using your iPhone. The app even allows you to organize your content by collections. The app also lets you search for content as you entire collection of digital contents become searchable. For its other social features, Jolicloud also allows you to see what digital content and collections your friends have been sharing. Jolicloud for iPhone is available now as a free download from the App Store. I’ve been using the Android version of this app and all I can say it that it works like a charm – fast and simple.
