One of my favorite apps, the powerful package tracker Deliveries, has just taken a big step forward with an update to version 6.0.
Most importantly, along with a slight name change, the app is now ready for the latest Apple hardware and software. Its fully optimized for the higher resolution screens of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and even features a landscape view on those handsets.
With the new Notification Center widget, you can check the status of deliveries without even having to open up the app.
Its also faster to enter deliveries into the app with the new and improved barcode scanner. And with an app extension in Safari, you can also add deliveries with just a few taps.
Heres a list of other changes:
Dynamic type: Deliveries will now show larger or smaller text based on your settings.
Fewer password hassles: if you have a junecloud.com password saved in Safari, the app will now ask if youd like to use that when you install it for the first time. If you create an account in the app, your password is saved to your iCloud Keychain so you can log into the site quickly on your Mac. You can also use 1Passwords iOS 8 extension to fill in passwords faster than ever.
Automatic favorite services: they’re now selected for you as you use them. If one shows up that you dont need to see anymore, just swipe it and tap to hide it.
