Karbonn, an Indian smartphone manufacturer today launched a new smartphone called ‘Titanium Mach Five‘ in an event held in Delhi, India. The smartphone comes with some good quality specs and priced very aggressively at Rs. 5,999 ($94). Last month, the company launched another entry-level smartphone ‘Titanium Mach One Plus‘ with 22 Indian languages support for just Rs. 6,990.
Coming to the specifications of the Titanium Mach Five, it sports a 5-inch HD (1280×720) display with a pixel density of 294ppi and comes powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot (up to 32GB support). There is a 2,200mAh lithium-ion battery that provides 16hours of talk time and 565 hours of standby time.
There is an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5MP front camera equipped with flash that no other device at this price range offered. The dual SIM device runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also includes IR blaster for controlling the other electronic by using ‘Peel Smart Remote’ app.
It has to face stiff competition from brands like Xiaomi RedMi 2, Yu Yuphoria, Coolpad Dazen 1 which are also priced at sub $100 price range.…
