We’ve seen innumerable press materials showing the #Samsung#GalaxyS7 and the S7 edge in action. All these images had the standard Samsung logo located right below the earpiece grille. However, it seems like customers in South Korea are not big fans of this feature. A quick glimpse through the Korean listing of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge reveals that the smartphone completely lacks any sort of company branding on the front.
The back however has the Samsung logo, suggesting that this was done to keep the appearance clean. As we know, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge don’t have a lot of distinguishing design features compared to last year’s models, so maybe this is Samsung’s way of differentiating the newly launched handsets from the 2015 Galaxy flagships.
Samsung hasn’t confirmed nor denied this at the moment, so we’ll treat this as speculation for now until units go on sale. What do you make of this revelation? Sound off in the comments below.
