Samsung began sales of the Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea this past Friday in order to tackle the impact that could be caused by the launch of the Apple iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. However, it seems like the company might have rushed it a little bit as some early customers of the phablet are reportedly seeing some gaps between the display and the casing. As you can see in the image above, there’s a visible gap between the two components, so much so that an actual business card has been fit in between the gap, which perfectly illustrates the problem.
Luckily, Samsung has reportedly acknowledged the issue and is possibly issuing replacements as well. It is very likely that this is just a case of a few bad apples, but it’s too early to tell. As of now, the smartphone is only available in South Korea and the rest of the world markets will have to wait until mid-October to know. The Galaxy Note 4 will break cover through all four major carriers in the U.S. for a steep price tag, so the company would want to iron out any issues which could hinder chances of the smartphone’s success in the market.
