Only a few Android apps are getting Marshmallow support updates probably because most developers are not yet ready. They haven’t even optimized their apps for Android Lollipop and Material Design yet and here comes a new one. Just yesterday, we learned that Pushbullet has received an update that added support for Runtime Permissions and Direct Share.
More than half a year ago, the Flynx app hit version 1.1. The v2.0 update is now ready, at least, for beta testers who want to make sure the app runs smoothly on their devices. App now comes with a fresh user interface (UI), cloud syncing, and unlimited bubbles. You can take advantage of the edge-swipe to switch between tabs as well.
The updated version isn’t live yet on the Google Play Store but beta testers noted the app features a new UI and night/dark background options while in the lite reading mode. If you can’t see the newer version, wait for a few more hours or just go to the Flynx Beta G+ page. All you need is your Google account to finally opt-in and get the beta version.
Flynn still helps the user open links or article from any social media app. Some more Marshmallow compatibilities have been fixed but we can expect more enhancements to be added once the official update is ready.
