The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Lava had yesterday launched three new budget 4G smartphones called as Lava A88, Lava A71 and Lava X11 priced at Rs. 5,499, 6,499 and 7,999 respectively. Earlier, we exclusively spoke about Lava A71 that comes with 5-inch HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera and 2500mAh battery. The Lava A88 is the ultra-low cost smartphone and comes with basic specifications. The Lava X11 is the budget smartphones and comes with standard features at that price tag. These devices will be available via all the leading online and offline platforms across the country.

Let’s talk about the smartphones in detail:
The Lava A88 flaunts a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display with pixel density of 196ppi and comes powered by unspecified MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port. The Lava A88 is the most affordable smartphone from the company with 4G-LTE support.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter for video calling and selfie lovers. It has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The handset comes backed by a 2000mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day considering the low-end specifications. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes in Black and White color options.
The Lava X11 comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs unknown 64-bit quad-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI laid on top. It has 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 32GB via external microSD card slot.
On the photographic section, the device features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie images. Interestingly, the front camera on the device is also accompanied with LED flash and will undoubtedly attract selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can last upto 10.5 hours of talk time.
