The China’s most popular smartphone maker Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 2 back in August. The company claims that Redmi Note 2 is one of the most trending devices in China with more 5 million units sold in less than a month of its launch. All thanks to the impressive specifications it features at a price point of mere $150.
Now, to curb the competition in the increasing smartphone market, Xiaomi is planning to launch the successor of the Redmi Note 2 called as Redmi Note 2 Pro with the premium build at the same price point. Recently, some images of the Redmi Note 2 Pro surfaced online revealing an all metal body and a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear side below the camera sensor.
According to the rumors, The Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature similar specifications like the earlier released Redmi Note 2, but the only difference will be the metal-clad body and the fingerprint scanner. Specs wise, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) FHD display with 401ppi as pixel density and will come powered by MediaTek MT6795 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU.
The device will come with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and will boast a 3060mAh battery.…
