Mirror's Edge Catalyst might be a total reboot, but not in the ways that really matter. It's still a dystopian antiestablishment fantasy, and it still stars a badass hero-lady who fearlessly parkours between sky-scraping rooftops.
"Doing a Mirror's Edge without Faith was never a question at all," Catalyst design director Erik Odeldahl told Mashable. The first game, released in 2008, introduced Faith as a sci-fi future courier who ferries physical messages around in a city ruled by a totalitarian regime that aggressively monitors digital communications. That basic setup remains in Catalyst.
