SEOUL, South Korea – LG again got impatient to reveal its carts before the date of a major event. Similar story to last year’s pre-CES releases we have and today, with the new LG Optimus Vu officially reviewed before the Mobile World Congress starting in Barcelona at 27th of February.
The Optimus Vu is LG’s answer to the new Galaxy Note by Samsung. Optimus Vu is a hybrid between phone and tablet with impressive 5 inch stylus friendly touchscreen in 4x3 form factor. Most of the rumors turned out to be true as it specks include 1.5GHz dual core CPU, 8MP rear camera, LTE connectivity, 2080mAh battery pack and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, all packed in a quite slim 8.5mm thick frame.
Au update of the OS to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is promised by LG in the next 3 months after the launch, which is scheduled for the beginning of March in Korea.
