It was only earlier today when we covered the news of the LG G3 Mini and now LG has made the device public.
The LG G3 Beat (G3s / G3 Mini) is the newest midrange smartphone from the Korean giant and while it was previously known as the G3 Mini, it sure doesn’t seem like one at all. The phone ships with a 5-inch 720p LCD display, with the company’s signature thin bezels and a 2540 mAh battery.
It also comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM (not 2GB as previous leaks suggested) , a mere 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable by an SD card. As for the cameras, it comes with an 8MP rear and 1.3MP front cameras. In a nutshell, think of this as a slightly smaller G3 but with Moto G specs.
As of now, this is only for South Korean markets but if it’s a success, there might be a chance that it comes to North America.
