LG’s upcoming flagship and the successor to the critically acclaimed LG G3 is gearing up to be one of the hottest smart phones in the market. The phone’s set to be released on May 27th, later this month, and by now. We have almost all the information about the phone thanks to all the legit leaks we’ve received so far. We know that LG G3 will be coming with a QHD display, and will have a similar design to it’s younger sibling, but what we didn’t know was the presence of a micro SD card slot. For those who don’t know, LG G2 didn’t come with a card slot and only offered 16 or 32 gigs of internal storage, but seems like LG is making some minor as well as major improvements over the predecessor.
Now… thanks to a leak from TechBlog, we have some information about the battery of LG G3 as well as the presence of a micro SD card slot. According to the leaked picture of the smart phone, it is pretty safe to say that LG G3 will be having a removable back cover, and under that, there will be 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery, paying more attention to photo, it seems like the battery will be removable, which is definitely a good thing since it’ll make the whole battery swapping much easier.
The picture also reveals the model number which is D855, this means that the handset shown in the picture is an international variant, apart from that, you can also see a micro SD card slot clearly in the picture. Take a look for yourself below.
Like stated earlier, the LG G3 will be going gold on 27th May, in just 4 days, but despite not having an official announcement we got our hands on the official specifications of the phone in another leak. The LG G3 will be coming with a quad core Snapdragon 801 under the hood, it’ll be powered by 3 gigs of RAM, and 32 gigs of internal storage that will be expandable via micro SD card given the specs align with the recent leak. On the software side, the G3 will be running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat which will run LG’s custom UI, the phablet will be having a 13 mega pixel camera with optical image stablisation also known as OIS, on the front, there will be a 2.1 mega pixel snapper. As for the screen, the LG G3 will be having a 5.5 inches of screen that will offer QHD resolution.
