SEOUL, South Korea – With the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 already available in the market, LG is left with little time to release its next flagship device, the LG G3.
Nonetheless, the long-awaited phone is arriving soon. Apart from rumors and leaked pictures, The Verge was able to obtain the real deal, a retail box for the smartphone.
The latest reports suggest that the LG G3 is currently codenamed as B2, while sources at The Verge say the phone will sport a 2K display and more or less look like the LG Isai FL that merely leaked a few days ago. The date, 1st of May, on the display of LG Isai FL could be a suggestion about the launching ceremony.
In other news, new stories strongly hint that LG might start mass producing its own chipsets for smartphones in this very quarter. However, with the LG G3 nearing the launching stage it would be safe to assume that the phone will not feature LG’s own processor.
