We already had the opportunity to give our final thoughts on the LG G3 experience, bestowing it with one of TechnoBuffalo’s highest ever grades. But in case you still weren’t convinced it’s one of the best devices this year, maybe you should take a peek at the device in action on T-Mobile. That’s right—we got ourselves a unit for the Uncarrier, which we’ve unboxed for you fine folks.
Unlike most recent flagship phones, the G3 definitely has the qualifications to be a big standout here in the U.S. Aside from that unusual rear button placement, which has been redesigned this year, LG’s phone also sports a wonderful 5.5-inch QuadHD display, outdoing even displays found on the HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S5. That’s no easy feat—but that’s not the only reason we love the G3.
Running under that beautiful screen you’ll find a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4 KitKat, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (microSD expandable), a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, and a beefy 3000mAh battery.
The G3 is a beautiful device, with an edge-to-edge screen and excellent overall design. It took a long while for the device to make its way to the U.S., but it seems the phone was well worth the wait. Check out Jon’s unboxing above, and let us know in the comments below if you plan on picking one up.
You can pick up the G3 with no money up front, plus $24.95 per month for 24 months. Or, if you prefer, you can pick this one up for $598.80 off-contract.
