A new rumor is suggesting that the upcoming LG G4 flagship will be unveiled next month, with what is considered to be a curved display. The term curved is very vague here, although we don’t expect it to be as curved as the LG G Flex 2, which was announced back in January by LG with Sprint currently selling it in the U.S.
It is said that the G4 will be revealed by the end of April, with a launch possibly expected in early or mid May. Details on the hardware specs are non-existent at this point as the smartphone is yet to make its arrival in fresh leaks.
But we’ve heard that the company will go with a 5.3 inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera on the back and Android 5.0.2 or perhaps Android 5.1 which is the latest release.
This means that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be at least a month old in the market before LG releases its flagship. This might not be good news for LG as it will probably not be able to cash in on the early 2015 flagship sales. In any case, it should be interesting to see what LG comes up with for the G4 as its predecessor was a very popular device.
