Although most major manufacturers are done with their quota of smartphone announcements for the year, it seems like Korean manufacturer #LG has one more to come. Some company officials recently mentioned that there would be another premium handset from the company this year and the rumor mill began to rise with speculation on whether this would be the #LGG4 Note or the G4 Pro.
A new report is now telling us that LG will schedule an announcement to show off this handset on the 10th of October. That’s nearly 5 weeks away from now, so there’s still some waiting to do. As for the feature set underneath, we expect the smartphone to be a bigger or a more powerful version of the LG G4, as the name suggests.
It is likely that the company will use the Snapdragon 810 chipset underneath, now that Qualcomm has almost figured out a way to deal with the overheating issues. Given that Sony has already released a 4K display smartphone in the market, we won’t be surprised if LG joins the fray as well., given their expertise with mobile displays. What do you think?
