With the LG G4 event quickly approaching, leaks are bound to happen in this period.
GFXBench has published the results of a benchmark on a supposed LG G4 and it clearly shows the phone running Android 5.1 out of the box, with the 6-core Snapdragon 808 SoC in tow. The only reason I can think of LG not using the Snapdragon 810 would be because of its heat and power consumption issues we’ve been hearing about since the beginning of the year.
It’s too bad the SoC couldn’t be fixed in time for it to be put into this phone as it’s still quite a lot faster. Interestingly enough, screen size has managed to stay the same, at 5.5-inches with a QHD display. As for the cameras, the rear and front cameras are going to be at least 15MP/7MP respectively.
The event is scheduled to be held on the 27th of this month.
