What is beauty? Some say it’s in the eye of the beholder; what’s beneath the surface is what really counts. Be that as it may, there’s no denying the lovely outward appearance of the G4, which sports a beautiful leather back (or plastic, if that’s what you prefer) that goes through a three-month tanning process. Talk about luxury.
It’s about the furthest thing from the HTC One M9, which sports an aluminum unibody design. Both are beautiful in their own way—at least on the outside. How do they stack up when comparing internal specs? That’s a different story.
We all know by now that the One M9 has a few glaring shortcomings, but it’s still a very good device. The G4, meanwhile, is essentially everything we loved about the G3 (and we loved that device), but better. Better display, better camera, better design. And, hey, there’s expandable storage and a removable battery, two features that might not be around for much longer.
We’ve already spent plenty of time with the One M9, but haven’t yet gone on any dates with the G4 just yet. Until we get to spend more time with LG’s new flagship, let’s see how it stacks up to HTC’s most recent flagship.
