A few weeks ago, there were rumors that LG was making an "SE" version of the G5, and that it would be a smaller device, much like the iPhone SE. If only the truth was as interesting as the rumors. After appearing on the Russian version of LG's website, we know now that the LG G5 SE is nothing more than a slightly cheaper — and slightly underpowered — version of LGs flagship G5.
The main differences between the G5 and the G5 SE are internal downgrades, likely meant to lower the price for markets like Russia and Latin America:
