It is pretty normal to have mobile vendors throw in their own take on Google’s Android with touches here and there in the software. For instance, higher end Samsung devices that run on Android have the TouchWiz overlay, whereas HTC falls back on its own Sense feature set. As for LG, well, it’s version is known as UX, and it seems that UX 5.0 will making its way with the flagship LG G5 smartphone.
What you see above is a short video of what the LG G5 will look like with UX 5.0 in action. One thing is for sure, the LG G5 will be very, very different from the rest of its predecessors that we have seen in the past, as it boasts of a modular aspect that is known as ‘Friends’. These modules can slide in and out from the bottom of the device, and some of the modules ready and waiting to roll out alongside the LG G5’s launch include one for high-definition audio and a camera grip.
It remains to be seen as to just how well the LG G5 will do when it is released next month, but chances are it will not end up as a slouch where sales figures are concerned.
