While we have yet to see anything official coming from LG or AT&T, it looks like another Optimus branded handset will soon be available. The handset is the LG Optimus 3D Max and the details are coming by way of a recent FCC filing. According to the details in the filing, the Optimus 3D Max has been approved with support for AT&T’s 3G network. The handset is sporting a model number of LG-P720h and with that — we are left waiting for something a bit more solid. That being said, we do know that the Optimus 3D Max is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has features to include a 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, dual-core 1.2GHz OMAP 4430 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera that is capable of both 2D and 3D. And lastly, even assuming AT&T is planning to launch this handset, it will likely land with another name. For example, the LG Thrill 4G on AT&T was also known as the the LG Optimus 3D.
