LG announced the LG Optimus L series II at MWC this year. The series, which includes the Optimus L3 II, Optimus L5 II, and the Optimus L7 II, featured minor hardware upgrades from the previous L series iteration, but with a software upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. If you’re in India, and have eagerly waiting for these devices to be launched in the country, there’s some good news for you. Dual-SIM versions of the LG Optimus L7 II and the Optimus L3 II have now shown up on the LG India website.
The entry-level LG Optimus L3 II Dual features a 3.2-inch capacitive IPS display with 320 x 240 resolution, 1Ghz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage expandable via microSD up to 32GB, 3.2MP rear camera, 1,540 mAh battery, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and Dual-SIM support. The Optimus L3 II is expected to compete with other similar entry-level smartphones from local manufacturers, as well as the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo.
LG Optimus L3 II Dual
The LG Optimus L7 II Dual, easily the best of the lot, features a 4.3-inch IPS display with 800 x 480 resolution, 1 Ghz dual-core processor, Adreno 203 GPU, 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage expandable via microSD up to 32GB, 8MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera, 2,460 mAh battery, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and Dual-SIM support.
The LG Optimus L3 II Dual will be priced at Rs 8,800 (~$166), and the Optimus L7 II Dual will set you back a relatively-steep Rs 18,650 (~$352). If you’re interested in buying either if these smartphones, you should definitely check out the significantly cheaper price listings from online retailers Flipkart, with the LG Optimus L3 II Dual being priced at Rs 7,899 (~$149), and the LG Optimus L7 II Dual at just Rs 14,990 (~$282).
