The nice thing is that this isn’t limited to three-year contracts (as great deals usually are in Canada) – you can also get the 3D tablet for free with a two-year service agreement. That’s not something that happens often, and perhaps it may just convince some that free is the best price after all.
The LG Optimus Pad is in a class of its own in the Android tablet space with its dual cameras which enable 3D photo and video shooting. Aside from that (and its less-than-usual screen size of 8.9″) there’s nothing really spectacular about LG’s first Android tablet. That said, if you don’t mind the contract Rogers is imposing on you, this tablet is a lot more capable than the usual ‘budget’ offerings, so perhaps it could be your next gadget. The choice is yours.
